Now following (I'm a little banana) and commenting (as you can see) ;) thanks to Delores from the Feathered Nest. Congrats on your book. It sounds great!
Wow. Did you take the rolling dog in grass photos? So cool! I love summer flowers but they make me sneeze. Except for yours. Can't figure out why. We are having a wet tropical early summer so far here. Very green. Very wet all the time. Heather
We're finally hitting the 70's. I'm so not acclimated to heat anymore, I'm melting ... lol I live at a high altitude in Oregon. It's desert so we can have 40 degree temp differences between day and night. Your flowers are beautiful.
Lydia - It's gorgeous. Those big clusters of blooms cover the tree in early summer and bloom less spectacularly until mid-fall. I've seen white, pink, rose, purple, and watermelon colors. The watermelon is almost a true red.
Talli - We could use a little rain. But I love sunshine :)
Sweet! I can't believe there's only a week of spring left. It already feels like summer. Okay, it's not exactly hot, but neither are Calgary's summers.

Great summer fun pictures.

Lovely pics! Well, except for the thermometer--that's too darn hot!
We've had our hot days here as well and a lot of flowers that would only be starting are finished.
Hibiscus is so pretty. And rolling dog is cute too!
We're just emerging from a rainy period. I'm GLAD.
Teresa - I love summer!
Linda G - Hot is what happens in Texas :)
Delores - Many flowers that thrive almost everywhere in summer are spring-only here - like petunias and snapdragons.
LR - Hibiscus is one of my favorites. Tried to get Other Dog rolling, too, but he refused to cooperate. Something about a bad hair day.
The flowers are pretty but the doggie rollin' in the grass is precious.
I love hibiscus and grass-rolling dogs. Summer rocks. Enjoy every minute of it!
Summertime is the best time. Thanks for posting your pics :)
Fun summer photos! It always goes by too fast. Julie

Great pictures. Gotta love watching a dog enjoy a nice roll in the grass.
Pool sounds great.
Oh, we have summer. And I have to mow in it. I'll take the pool, thanks!
Southpaw - He's a sweetie, too :)
Cynthia - I think summer rocks, too. Even hot Texas summers!
Michael - You're welcome :)
Julie - I think summer flies by, too.
CarrieBoo - Thanks for participating. Good luck!
LOVE the pics!!!!

Lovely flowers -- and I especially like the dog rolling in the grass!
Laura - Thanks :)
Heather - I did. The more I use my new camera, the more I love it!
M Pax - Don't come to San Antonio anytime between April and November - LOL!
Dianne - Thanks. He's my furbaby :)
It's been in the forties here. I don't know what that is in fahrenheit but it's hot! I could go jump in a pool right about now.
Clarissa - I looked on the converter. 40C = 104F. Very hot. Come over and cool off :)
So that is what crape myrtle looks like! I always wanted to know. It pops up in books here and there and I could never visualize it.
Oh, gorgeous! It's supposed to be summer in England. Instead, we're getting a monsoon...

Lovely pictures of summer, Carole! Thanks. We are heading into winter but with my upcoming visit to US, hopefully I will be in summer!

Nas - I hope you have a beautiful summer on your visit here. Can't wait to hear all about your trip.
Stina - And our winters are not like yours. I would be bundled up more than Nanook of the North in Calgary.
Love your pictures. It's been mighty hot here, too.
Thanks, Janet. Almost missed this comment. Sorry 'bout that.
These are great summer photos. I love the dog.
Thanks, Brenda Kay. He's a sweetie :)
