Kreativ Energy

Yesterday, I was messing around with settings, and saw that Word Verification was set to ON. What? I never turned it on. I turned it OFF a long, long time ago. I don't see a difference either way, so I'm relying on all of you to tell me whether it's on or off for you. If it has been on, I apologize and thank you for wading through it. I wish someone would have told me of the change. If it's been off and now I turned it on, I'll mark it down as another Blogger thingie. Either way, by no later than noon U.S. time - depending on when you guys tell me - it should be off. If it's still on after noon, please let me know. I appreciate your help :)

Now, without further ado....

The other day Sarah at Fanatic for Fiction blessed me with the Kreativ Blogger Award. Sarah is a university student in Belfast . . . and she just had her birthday - she's no longer a teenager - on the day she handed out the award. Go visit and wish her Happy Birthday all week! Oh, and thanks, Sarah :)

The Rules
1. You must thank the person who has given you the award.
2. Copy the logo and place it on your blog.
3. Link the person who has nominated you for the award.
4. Name 7 things about yourself that people might find interesting.
5. Nominate 7 other Kreativ Bloggers.
6. Post links to the 7 blogs you nominate.
7. Leave a comment on each of the blogs to let them know they have been nominated.

So let's get to it - not sure how much more I can tell you about myself:

1. I'm vertically challenged, topping out a little south of 5'3".

2. I wish I were tall :)

3. I had a happy childhood.

4. I'm much more suck-it-up than oh-you-poor-dear.

5. One of the times I feel most alive is when I'm writing.

6. The glass is always at least half full.

7. I rarely take myself seriously.

As is my recent custom here, this award is yours if you want it. Be sure and take the rules with you - for whatever they're worth :)

Congrats on your Kreativ Award, it's always fun to get to know fellow writers in this way ... And FYI, Word Verification is Off for my comment :)

I never saw your word verification. I think blogger lied to you.
It's usually best not to take oneself seriously. :)

Congratulations. No word ver here.

Hi Carol. Congrats on your award! If I were to answer those questions, mine would be a lot like yours. AND you would feel TALL next to me....I'm barely 5 feet!! :o

BECKY said...

Forgot to say...No Word Verification for me, either!

Always fun to get to know folks better. Congrats on your award.

I don't remember having to word verify either here.

Congrats on the award and your #7 is the best--I think it is an asset that certainly helps folks live longer minus the stress.

Southpaw said...

Congrats. No. 7 is a good way to get through all the muck that is life!

Sorry, to hear about the WV. That's been happening, though I've never seen it here. Maybe it was really recent?

No, it wasn't on. Blogger will continue to show it being on every time you go to that page. Don't worry, it's off. Even if you go to the page now, it will say it's on. Just click it to off and save the page.

Congratulations on the award! It's always fun learning more about fellow bloggers. Hurray for the glass always being half full. ; )

Nicely done. I'm even more vertically challenged at 5'2 but it's never bothered me and I'm very suck it up too. Just ask my kids when they have a mysterious pain ;)

Congrats on the award!

My siblings are all taller than me. At 5' 6" they think I'm short. I remind them they're the freaks, not me. I'm average height. :) (Can you tell I rarely take myself seriously either?)

Carol, you sound like a trooper! Congrats on the award.

I checked my settings for something two weeks ago and it said word verification was on, and I never turned on mine either! Blogger glitch I guess, because I'm sure someone would've pointed out that it was on.
You don't want to be tall. Short is cute. (My wife isn't much taller and she's adorable at that height.)

Joanne - I'm so happy WV is off. Thank you!

Laura - I think both things are true.

Delores - Thanks and yea!

Becky - We'll have to meet in person one day so I can feel tall :)

Stephen - Wonder why that is?

Liza - I enjoy getting to know my bloggie buddies, too.

Slamdunk - I agree!

Southpaw - I hope the WV thing is cleared up now. A little Blogger muck, LOL.

Clarissa - I'm supposing that makes sense to Blogger?

Cynthia - Oh yeah ... want a sip?

Lydia Kang said...

Ha ha, I'm only just above 5'2" so I'm more vertically challenged than you are!

Short people unite!

Me toooo. My settings said word verification was on last week and I'm whaaaaat??? No way. I called my daughter and asked her to try it. She said it wasn't on, but I'm not convinced. I'm hoping someone will tell me if it's on.

Is blogger messing with us?

Johanna - The world is made for taller people, I think.

Emily - I'm a tiny bit taller than my sister.

J.L. - LOL, I'll troop through just about anything.

Alex - Aw, you're very sweet. Your wife is a lucky woman.

Yvonne - Thanks!

Carol Kilgore said...

L.G. - Yeah. Get tough.

Lydia - I second that!!

Teresa - I think Blogger is messing with us. I do not get WV at your blog.

Thanks, Nas!

I never saw word verification on here. Hmmm

I'd like to write "suck-it-up" on a big piece of paper and stick it next to my computer. In fact I think I will. :)

I'd like to be taller, too.

Have a great weekend.

Thanks, Medeia. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to reach the top shelf?
