How about SULTRY and Sweltering? Remember the movie with Billy Crystal and Danny DeVito--Throw Momma From the Train? Billy Crystal has writer's block because he can't get the right word for humid, muggy?
Unless it's in a mug topped with steamed milk, I don't care much for hot in the morning. Or any time, for that matter. Here in western Canada summer has just barely arrived. We finally had sunshine today and I think it got up to 26oC (82oF) for the first time this season. I know it's been an inferno in much of the USA so I hesitate to complain. :)
I think you've about covered it! I don't envy any of the folks who are having to endure the oppressive heat wave of late, but I'll bet a lot of them would like to be having our Los Angeles weather right now.

Nice ones!
I wish it was hot here. Brr.
Happy weekend!
You know, I never realized just how many definitions there really are of hot. Hmm. Interesting.
Linda - Yeah :)
Clara - "Owen, you clumsy poop!" Nah, I don't remember that movie - LOL. I love the word 'sultry'.
LR - I'd email you some hot, but it would fry your computer :)
Linda - Gets your imagination going, doesn't it?
Not a big fan of hot in general, but 8 & 5 have a nice ring to them and when it comes to eats, 6 can't be beat!
Ha! Love it! I started laughing at number 1--radioactive, which is exactly how it's felt to me over the last few days.
As to #1, not so much where I am. We've had a very cool July. I'll take it over scorching heat any day.
VR - I'm with you!
Heidi - We've been HOT since May here in San Antonio.
Elspeth - I like warm but not hot.
My top definition - HELL!
Yup! ;)
I can't argue with summer being #1 (as I'm sweltering) but couldn't sexy move to #2? ;)
Oh, 8,5,1! Sizzling, summery fun! Have a fab weekend, sweet! x
Yes, totally summer!
Alex - Doesn't get much hotter than that.
lbdiamond - :)
Laura - I think you're probably right about that - LOL
Talei - You, too!
Lydia - We crossed. Yes, it is definitely summer.
LOL, specifically THIS summer!
Carol, your top ten's so cool, it's hot! ;)
Karen - It's a scorcher, for sure.
Savannah - Sweet :)
Perfect day for this post. I'm wilting in this oppressive heat. Sweltering!
Theresa - I know the feeling.
You clearly live in Texas, although this year you could live just about anywhere. Stay inside with the air conditioner on!
Tomorrow the definition of hot will be: step outside.
Helen - No Place But Texas! It's almost 9pm and still mid-90s here.
Conda - See above comment to Helen...LOL.
Yes, it sure is hot!

Carol
Clarissa - It's summer!
Careann - I've lived in places where I needed a windbreaker in July. Enjoy what little summer you get.

Tossing It Out
Arlee - I had to look up your weather - LOL. Looks like spring!
Great top 10! I love them all.
Thanks, Janet!
